This Christmas marks the second year that Hailey and her two children will celebrate the holiday season in their Habitat for Humanity home.
The last fifteen months have been a whirlwind of activity for the family. From moving into their new home to building a successful career at the Downtown Salon and Spa, Hailey remains focused on professional and personal growth. While her home was being built, Hailey spent every weekend when she was not working at the salon helping build her home. She continues to work hard to make the most of the opportunities she has been given. |

Last spring, Josephine’s home was vandalized while she was in the hospital fighting cancer.
Our volunteers rebuilt her front stairs, performed yard maintenance, removed destroyed carpet, and painted her floors so she had a safe and sanitary place to live when she got home from the hospital. Josephine says it has been hard for her to stay hopeful, but she has managed to "keep hope alive" and to be thankful for each day she is given. She is back home for Christmas and enjoying walks along the river. She will spend Christmas day with family and friends before returning to the hospital for more treatment. |
