A World Where Everyone Has A Descent Place to Live
Tres Rios Habitat for Humanity: Building Hope, Homes, and Community Together!
At Tres Rios Habitat for Humanity, our mission is to transform lives by providing sustainable, affordable homeownership opportunities. We believe that everyone deserves a safe and decent place to call home, and we're dedicated to making that vision a reality.
Our Commitment to Community San Juan County: Rooted in the belief that strong communities start with stable homes, we work tirelessly to empower families to break the cycle of poverty through homeownership. By fostering partnerships and engaging our community members, we create a foundation for positive change that ripples beyond the walls of the homes we build.
Building Dreams, One Home at a Time: With the unwavering support of volunteers, donors, and dedicated staff, we embark on the journey of building homes from the ground up. The heart of our organization lies in the hands that wield hammers, the minds that plan, and the souls that generously contribute their time and resources to bring dreams to life.
Sustainable Impact: Our commitment extends beyond the completion of a home. We promote sustainable living, focusing on energy-efficient designs and environmentally conscious building practices. This not only benefits our partner families but also contributes to the well-being of our planet.
Partnering with Families: Partner families are at the core of what we do. We collaborate with families in need, fostering a sense of pride and responsibility as they actively participate in the construction of their homes. Through sweat equity, we build not just structures but also strong, resilient communities.
How You Can Join Us: Whether you're a skilled builder, a community advocate, or someone passionate about making a difference, there's a place for you at Tres Rios Habitat for Humanity. Explore volunteer opportunities, support our fundraising initiatives, or connect with us to learn more about becoming a partner family.
Together, We Build More Than Homes - We Build Hope: Join us on this transformative journey as we continue to build a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Together, we are Tres Rios Habitat for Humanity, and together, we are creating a brighter future for families in need.
About Tres Rios Habitat for Humanity Tres Rios Habitat for Humanity is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God's love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Tres Rios Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.
All Are Welcome Tres Rios Habitat for Humanity has an open-door policy: All who believe that everyone needs a decent, affordable place to live are welcome to help with the work, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, political views or any of the other distinctions that too often divide people. In short, Habitat welcomes volunteers and supporters from all backgrounds and also serves people in need of decent housing regardless of race or religion. As a matter of policy, Habitat for Humanity International and its affiliated organizations do not proselytize. This means that Habitat will not offer assistance on the expressed or implied condition that people must either adhere to or convert to a particular faith, or listen and respond to messaging designed to induce conversion to a particular faith.
