What We Do
New Home Construction Tres Rios Habitat for Humanity partners with qualifying families to build safe, energy-efficient homes that offer stability and hope for the future. Each homeowner invests sweat equity by working alongside volunteers and staff to help build their own home. Once complete, the family purchases the home through an affordable, no-profit mortgage, creating long-term self-reliance and pride of ownership. Our homes are designed for energy efficiency, accessibility, and durability — built to meet the unique needs of families in San Juan County.
A Brush With Kindness This outreach program helps homeowners with small-scale repairs, accessibility ramps, and exterior painting to make homes safer and more livable. Volunteers and community partners come together to lend a helping hand — one ramp, one brushstroke, one family at a time.
Habitat ReStore Shop, donate, or volunteer at the Tres Rios Habitat for Humanity ReStore, where every purchase helps build homes, communities, and hope right here in San Juan County.
Our ReStore offers new and gently used furniture, appliances, building materials, lighting, paint, hardware, décor, and more — all at a fraction of retail prices. Every item sold supports our mission to provide safe, affordable housing for local families.
When you donate items or shop with us, you’re keeping usable materials out of landfills and putting them to good use in your community. It’s recycling with purpose!
