At Tres Rios Habitat for Humanity, every volunteer plays an important role in building strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Whether you’re swinging a hammer, organizing donations, or greeting customers at the ReStore, your time and energy help local families achieve safe and affordable housing.

Construction & Home Build Projects: No experience needed! Our build site volunteers help with framing, painting, landscaping, accessibility ramps, and more. We provide all tools, safety gear, and on-site instruction.

A Brush with Kindness Projects: Our A Brush with Kindness program helps local homeowners with small-scale exterior repairs, accessibility ramps, and painting projects that make homes safer and more livable.
Volunteers assist with tasks such as ramp construction, yard cleanup, and painting — helping neighbors in need stay safely in their homes.
Great for groups or individuals who enjoy hands-on, high-impact work!

ReStore Volunteers: Help support affordable housing by volunteering at our Habitat ReStore, located at 1915 East Murray Drive, Farmington.
Tasks include organizing donations, assisting customers, light cleaning, and helping with displays.
Flexible shifts available Tuesday–Saturday. Perfect for individuals, students, and community service hours.

Community Service & Group Projects: We welcome local clubs, schools, churches, and businesses to volunteer as teams! Whether you’re earning community service hours or hosting a corporate volunteer day, we can find a meaningful project that fits your group.

Volunteer Requirements: Ages 12 and up for ReStore and 16 for a build site (volunteers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). Complete a brief volunteer waiver and safety orientation. Come ready to learn, serve, and make a difference!
